Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - men's DOUBLES

I wonder what the next period holds? Joe and Neal are playing the Olympics, presumably they will want some practice together. Neal and Michael may or may not stay together, Jamie is the third wheel there, maybe Joe and Neal may have a future as a pair if things go well?

Rajeev is with Krajicek in Paris, I think I am right - Krajicek and Dodig havent had the best of seasons either - Krajicek is down to 17th live ranking, although the pair is 11th in the Race. But again, will they stay together and is Ram and Krajicek an option? Or will Joe and Rajeev defend their US title again, before Rajeev calls it a day?

It is like the old comedy Soap!!

With Henry and Harri winning, they move 13th in the live race, making Henry the top Brit in the race.

One BP and one break of serve gives Skupski & Venus the first set.

Broom & Fery understandably finding the #11 seeds a tough proposition in their R3 match. They did though beat the #7 seeds in R2 so you never know ...

2-6 *0-1

Good to see Neal and Henry and partners continuing their good form. Disappointed Julian and Joe and partners didnt get to the last 8, although always an ask for all 4 to make it. Still, 2 is reasonable and exceeds seeding expectations in both cases.
