Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - men's DOUBLES

Not understanding lots of this discussion - Harri regularly mentions input from Louis Cayer on his blog, including throughout Wimbledon.

So there you go. There is obviously a disconnect between what players were told in advance and what actually happens in practice, which sounds positive.

My understanding is that Harri was told Louis can't help him 1:1 with things he's struggling with in his own game, because of the David Cup issue. I've never seen any suggestion that Louis had been told not to help them as a pair. So I'm not sure there is any disconnect?

 Thanks jb288. Appreciate the clarification.

Final:

Harri Heliövaara (FIN) & Henry Patten CR 79 (37+42) defeated (15) Max Purcell & Jordan Thompson (AUS/AUS) CR 63 (31+32) by 6-7(7) 7-6(8) 7-6(11-9)

Max and Jordan win the US Open Doubles Championship biggrin

Nice of them to 'let' out Henry (and Harri) have the win on home soil - glad that the gods have now smiled on them smile
