Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - men's DOUBLES

What success these two have had since teaming up only a few months ago!

Thanks to Jordan Thompson for doing the softest second serve of the match at 8-6 in the MTB!

That's up there in Jonny Marray territory. What a fantastic win.

Except this time, the trophies are being presented on court rather than in the Royal Box!  biggrin  And with interviews, as excruciating/toe-curling as they tend to be!  wink  So we get to hear Henry speak!  smile

Harri as honest as ever!  smile

That was a very gracious speech by Max. And, aww, Harri in absolute bits at the end and sobbing on Henry's shoulder, saying "I don't know how we did that!" (Neither do we, Harri!)

What a final! It's 101 years since GB last got their hands on the men's doubles title two years in a row!

If the prize money isn't enough, Henry could probably make a fortune selling the ice in his veins to those who don't manage to stay quite as calm! LOL

Also, Henry now GB no. 2 (overtaking Neal) and in the top 20 (up 25 and 17, I think) and after giving the rest 3 months' head start, Henry and Harri are now 5th in the Race!

What an excellent match that was. Couldnt be happier for Henry and Harri. Funny how things turn out as Im sure they were both the ones dumped by their previous long term partners. Looking forward to reading Harris blog on this one!

What an edge of the seat match that was.
Fantastic for the guys and especially our Henry.
Doesn't it feel good to see GB in the winners circle at Wimbledon.

Henry and Harri share £650,000 for that win. £325k each, over $400k Nice one, Henry!

Was a privilege to watch the first amd third sets live. The first set was dull but clinical serve and volley tennis. The third set was anything but. The seventh game was crucial, Harri holding serve from 15-40. Harri amd Henry didn't have a break point all match, but won the last point which is what counts.

An incredible match and and incredible performance, which is life changing for both, and hopefully will lead to even greater results.
