Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - men's singles

They initially changed it to Goffin vs Machac. Then shortly after changed it again to Draper.

Choinski and Harris go down in their first sets 7-5 and 6-4 respectively. Watching Harris and that was just about deserved.

Jaume Munar (BH's opponent) does look a handful tbh. Still there's a way to go yet.

Decided to watch Jan as I don't see him much and to be fair his opponent is playing well! Jan is doing alright so far.

That match point for Paul Jubb, and the few points leading up to it, the end of that third set in general, may really come back to haunt him :(

Argh Billy

Munar was annoyingly good but frustrating when it feels like the Break-through-Brit might have peaked a week too early!

I feel far more for Paul and Jan

Billy played well, but Munar was that bit better - obviously Billy will regret not playing his A1 top-top game, but I'm not sure you can even expect that

But Paul has had a MP and is SO close to such a major win

And Jan was two sets to one up, cruising, but just faltered at the end, again so so close, and it's not 2 sets all

You feel for both of them

Ohh Jan! Had it then didn't 2-2 are any men going to get one over the line?

I'm hoping that the rain break has come at a good time for Paul Jubb because he has been fading away through the last set and a half.

The Times Wimbledon supplement has Cam 9/10, Paul 6/10, Jan 3/10, Jack 9/10, Dan 5/10, Henry 2/10 hmm
