Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - men's singles

Altmaner now seems well in control, Arthur is missing a lot but his opponent is really slapping the ball - and it's always going in!

Arthur did a lot of work to stay in that 4th set just to get from 5-1 down to 5-3 before losing it anyway. Should he have just let it go at 5-1 and saved that energy for the 5th set I wonder.

Physio on court to see Arthur

Looks like cupping marks on the back of both his legs?

Thank you SO much - I had no idea what those marks were - and no reall idea about cupping therapy - which I've just been reading up on - thanks !

ur welcome, they do it a lot at college. I was horrified the first time I saw the marks on my son, looks like some kind of medieval torture!

The  commentators have also just mentioned it as possible clue to ongoing issue

Gets one game on the board, 1-4*

C'mon Arthur go for it. I've cashed out on an Altmaier win

He wins a 3 set match
How many 5s has he ever played that have gone to 5? Bet it's countable on one hand.

Good effort Arthur!
