Conditions are bad. Hope Harriet can keep going.

Wang definitely the more nervy to start, forehand looks shaky. She's playing with the ranking pressure/expectation I suppose.

Harriet's second serve being munched which combined with the wind might explain these early doubles. Wastes 3 game points and saves a break point before play stops.

*3-1 deuce.

Just been to look at Wangs record. Nothing spectacular in her record at all.

Real opportunity for Harriet here with home support.

They just said the rain is coming down so hard that you can hear it hammering on the closed roof of court one so it doesn't look like it will be stopping anytime soon cry

Have a ticket on court 2 today. Difficult conditions for the serve with windy conditions. Feel like it could be a frustrating day with on off interruptions.

Emma has pulled out of the mixed with a sore wrist, officially ending Andy's career. Oops.

Dont mind it. They had no chance anyway and Emma has a chance here.

Andy already had the perfect send off

Don't mind either. Why jeopardize a proper run at Wimbledon by playing twice in a day in what is essentially an exhibition match.

Another thing to add was Andy looked sore and far from comfortable in the men's doubles. So I feel for him it could be a blessing as well really.

Harriet holds for only the second time in this match. Breaks have been the norm so far. 5-2.

Those were three gorgeous strikes on that set point. She looks very focused and dialed in - so far anyway.

Harriet just needs to hold it together here and we have another player in the last 16.
