Here's how the bookies see it:

Wimbledon GB women's R1 win probabilities, based on current odds:

82% Boulter
68% Dart
54% Raducanu
47% Miyazaki
41% Kartal
37% Watson
28% Jones

E(GB women's R1 wins) = 3.56

My guess is that the top 4 will make it, but keeping my fingers crossed for all 7 and no-one has no chance I think, which reflects on even Fran being given a 28% chance.

If I had to select the 4 most likely, they'd be Katie, Harriet, Emma and Sonay.

Considering Emma recently beat Pegula the world number 5, she has no opponent higher than 5 until the QF, one more round than she achieved in 2021. It is not an easy path with the 8 and 9 seeds as possible opponents, never mind her 1st round opponent, who is certainly going to be a challenge but you never know with Emma.

Lily is 3rd on court after 2 men's matches, so if she makes it on to court at 1 pm, without any rescheduling, I think it would make some sort of record, for the speed of the 2 men's matches before her. My guess is that Lily, Emma and Sonay will all be on around 4-5 pm, unless there are any rain delays.

I took the timings from the BET365 site. They have since modified the time for Emmas match to 15.30 but they still have Lily's match starting at 13.00, exactly the same time as they have the 2nd men's match starting on the same court.

Just been announced that Alexandrova has withdrawn and Emma will now play Zarazua (LL). Lucky Emma!

Wow, that changes the scale of the challenge. Alexandrova I think was a difficult match - I'd have expected Emma to win but she can play on grass and can go on uplayable patches, but tends to have mental walkabouts particularly in big matches. She must however be quite ill to not even try - having an opportunity to play on Centre is a big thing to miss.

Zarazua was pretty unconvincing from snippets I saw in qualies, and to suddenly to get the call to say you are playing and playing on centre is pretty scary.

Often best to check schedules, and latest scores once matches have started, and make your own estimates ( though fair dos, estimates and source will be of interest ),  Most websites / apps times tend to be an estimate of the earliest likely times without generally allowing for possible additional sets. Kind of on that basis, Lily's match shows as 15.00 on the TNNS app, with 13.00 on bet365 being just silly assuming the two men's matches are still due yo be played.

Thats a huge break for Emma. And if she does win then probably plays Mertens next who has retired from 2 of her last 3 matches

Not that it affecs any Brits, but Cocciaretto (at the bottom of the draw) has been replaced by Danilovic - so two LL in already.

ETA - four in the men's draw so far.
