Not great, not awful. But probably not going to be a huge number of wins - I can't see Lily (despite it being a good draw), Sonay or Heather winning at all.
Harriet v Katie is a fun round 2 on a big court if they both make it. Alexandrova not a bad seed for Emma, hits big but inconsistent, not the best mover.
Amanda Wainwright was a real shock when she qualified, as others suggested.
I remember Karen Cross's run vividly. I watched all three of her matches when she reached the 3rd round and through queueing managed to get a front row seat on what was the old Court 2, when she played Majoli. She had several match points against Majoli, but annoyingly every time she got one, Majoli seemedd to play her best tennis, and I think Majoli was seeded thirteen or fourteen at the time.
Something very weird happened to me on the court at one point. At one point I said out loud 'Give Up', as I was getting so fed up with Majoli saving all these matches points, and although I didn't say it all loudly, Majoli actually heard me, and I heard her, while she was crouching down to receive the serve, say 'I will never give up' - it is the one and only time I have said anything negative to a player on court and I said it so quietly, I was amazed she heard me, but I was right in the corner of the court, where I always go and so very close to her.
Anyway Karen Cross was on a fantastic run that day and it was very unexpected. She was a good player and if I remember rightly, she was from Devon, and at the time, both her and Lucie Ahl from Exeter were doing well, but neither could quite make the top 100 and Lucie also went incredibly close to a win in the main draw one year, with the worst line call I ever saw being hugely significant and robbing her of a break at the vital time - the ball being perhaps 18 inches out and the line judge wrongly calling it.
Anyway what a list - Sonay joins just Katie S, Karen Cross (2), Amanda Wainwright, Karen Hunter and Leslie Charles, since 1977, which is the time I think that tennis got much more professional and it got significantly harder to qualify. I can't recall Leslie Charles at all - even though I would have been at Wimbledon that year - but I'm pretty sure I didn't see her play.
Steven - I'm going to write down that list and keep it and am very grateful for such meticulous research. You'd have made a great journalist, I think.
Is there a specific schedule for Monday and Tuesday ie top half of Men's bottom of Women's or is it random. Trying to get a ticket for both days but single tickets are hard to come by. I've had multiple sets of 2 tickets in my basket but that means I can only go 1 day. Unless of course someone on here wants to get a pair for 1 day and I'll get a pair for the other. I don't tend to sit on my seat for long, I just cba to queue so I pay for a seated ticket and then watch the Brits wherever they are playing.

They did mention that it's top of one and bottom of the other... issue is I forget which way round it was but it Is top of mens/bottom of ladies or the other way round if that helps at all.

It doesn't seem to be on the WImbledon website yet, but Vondrousova is in the top half, so presumably she will open on day 2. Alcarez is also in the top half of the draw, so should open on day one.
I can't remember if it's the reigning champion or the number 1 seed with their respective half that decides the order, with the man (Alcaraz or Sinner) on Monday and Vondrouskva or Swiatek on Tuesday
Thank you Indy for clearing that up
