At the moment there are still 14 matches going on and only Marni's opponent is decided - Marina Stakusic of Canada, who beat Chloe Paquet today.
Hanna will face the winner of Martincova v Parks (currently 0-2)
Sonay faces the winner of Andreeva #5 v Papamichail (currently 6-1 2-1)
3 for 3 Hopefully, we are seeing the same tomorrow evening.
Mens only tomorrow I believe. Women all play on Friday by the looks of things.
I thought they all played tomorrow. Only the men's OOP is out at the moment, probably because the women's matches hadn't finished last time I looked. When Annie interviewed Hannah they wee talking about tomorrow's match.

Thats an amazing win for Hannah against one of the lesser but very good Fruhvrtova sisters. Congratulations Hannah.
So that takes the 2024 grass court head-to-head to Fruhvirtova 3 - GB players 2. She must be sick of playing them.
Probably not quite as much as Mikhail Kukushkin is sick of playing GB players! His 2024 grass court head to head is 2 wins to 3 losses (Billy H twice, Charlie B once). Maybe Linda and Mikhail should get together to commiserate.
Ah sorry you're right got thrown by the not at the top of the original OOP which said "gentleman's singles only" which I thought meant only they were playing!

Parks lost 12 matches in a row at one stage this year, but is currently on a 7-match winning streak on grass having won the WTA125 in Gaiba last week. A tough match up for Hannah, although Parks can blow really hot and cold.
I really rate Stakusic who helped Canada win the Billie Jean King Cup when no one had heard of her. However she is another player to have lost this season to Emily Appleton, which was a good omen for today.
And I trust Sonay to give it her best shot. She competes really well on grass despite not looking like a grass court player.
Everyone probably saw some of Hannah on TV so there's not much to say - apart from the fact that the noise in that court was really full-on - people cheering and shouting - it was quite a tense environment for a youngster
She played some excellent tennis. And Linda was clever, figured out what wasn't working, changed her tactics and really tried to crank it up
The third set was nip and tuck, with all the breaks
But thrilling to see Hannah get the win
I'm two out of two, so far, on Hannah predictions BUT am hoping I'll be wrong on the next one because I went and watched 20 mins of Parks - and she was playing utterly 'cor blimey' tennis - I don't think Hannah stands much of a chance - but, as said, would be great to be wrong !
Sonay's match was pretty awful, tbh. But if you play an awful match, with an opponent playing an even more awful match, then at least win it. Which she did. So enough said.
Very pleased for Marni. She had to work hard. And keep her head together. Lovely to see her stringing together some results
It's beyond brilliant to see that we have 3 players in the final qualifying round.
The first thing I think it shows is that we have really good strength in depth in women's tennis right now.
The second thing that I think is also apparent is how many good young players we have coming through - no idea whether the success of Emma at the US Open and Katie B in the top 32 has helped with belief, whether it is coaching come good or whatever... but it all bodes so well for the future. I thought Mika and Mingge also did well in their matches and there hasn't been a single Brit who was battered by their opponents - all those who lost, did so narrowly, and three wins today are the best qualifying results I have seen in what is a very long time watching tennis.
Hannah looks such an exciting prospect - beating these top players at the age of 15 is amazing and each time she steps on court against a top 200 player, she must be learning so much.
I think as well, with Marni and Sonay, it just shows that in other years they would have been awarded wildcards into the main draw, and their battling performances show how close they are to the big time, so both players will take immense encouragement from these results, and Marni's season, in particular is going from strength to strength.
Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone tomorrow - C'mon and massive well done to all three for how well you have played and what you have done so far.
