Doubles is out, WCs to Wimbledon pairings of Liam/Billy and Artur/Charles. Shame someone like Marcus couldnt get one with someone.

Henry doing very well against his top 100 opponent in front of a noisy, supportive crowd. Lost the first set on the tiebreak but claimed the second by a similar score and has an early break in set 3 (3*-2) Currently 2/6 on breakpoints against his opponent's 1/2

Henry 6-7(4) 7-6(3) 5-3* and now has 0-40 on the US serve after fine play

and takes his first MP for a fine 6-7(4) 7-6(3) 6-3 win

I believe that the young man picks up seven ranking points & 3,970 euros for that win.  smile

Excellent stuff from Henry. Will be interesting to see his strategy post Wimbledon does he go for Challenger qualifying or try and get the games in on the ITF circuit.

Charlie lost the second set 6-3, broke for 4-2 in the decider only to play a sloppy game ending with a double to hand the break back -- then Comesana plays two woeful drop shots and Charlie will serve for the match at 5-3

Another break - what I have seen of this match in the last few minutes has not been of the highest quality - and Charlie is back to 5-4*

It wasn't pretty in the latter stages of the match, but Charlie dipped a ball at the feet of the net rushing Argentinian on his third match point and wins 6-4 3-6 7-5
