Who is the ex-journo Susan Goss? Is she (are you) a contributor on these boards?

She's a regular contributor to the comments section on tennis articles on TimesonLine, frequently in defence of Emma Raducanu when the anti-ER brigade is out in force, which is fairly often, since there is no shortage of reports on her matches.  I quoted a couple of her comments on the introduction of new commentators for the Beeb's Wimbledon coverage this year on the Queen's thread (page 15) when she described herself as an ex-journo.  Earlier today, she responded to an ER critic & kicked off with the words "as an Aussie who believes in the dying art of fair play" (it would take too long to explain the actual context).  As far as I'm aware, she does not contribute to this board, though she clearly does know a thing or two about British tennis & keeps up to date with developments, so must have connections, as witness her put-down of the clown who accused another reader of making up Paul Jubb's name:-

We've been watching Paul Jubb since he got a wild card into Wimby two years ago. They loved him in Mallorca. Went up 88 places. A bit of a wild hitter but beating Shelton was massive.

I've no idea who the "we" are.

Julian will move up to a further CH. Live ranked 39.

Will then drop a mandatory 0 from Wimbledon last year and they have a decent draw.
