Play-off R2:  Stuart Parker WR 566 defeated (qWC) Viktor Frydrych UNR by 3-6 6-3 6-4

Play-off R2:  (q3) Anton Matusevich WR 431 defeated Mark Whitehouse WR 963 by 6-7(6) 7-5 7-6(6)

Play-off R2:  (q1) Aidan McHugh WR 355 defeated Harry Wendelken WR 681 by 7-6(5) 4-6 7-6(3)

So, presumably:

Play-off FQR:  (q1) Aidan McHugh WR 355 vs Stuart Parker WR 566

Play-off FQR:  Alastair Gray WR 621 vs (q3) Anton Matusevich WR 431

or will all four get one, seeing as Charlie Broom has been promoted to a main draw WC,  Oliver Bonding's been forced to withdraw with a foot injury & there was one still to be announced anyway?

No, 3 qwc have been cleared and 3 have moved in from the Alt list.

I think I can answer my own question:  Ali vs Anton is already showing on the schedule, so I assume Aidan vs Stuart will be added.

they filled the QWC's with alts from the entry list instead and left it as 2 players to get WC's via the play offs.

Apparently they've given them back (boo).

Looks like Aidan's marathon took its toll and Stuart gets the second spot in the qualifying draw comfortably

Play-off FQR: Stuart Parker WR 566 d. (q1) Aidan McHugh WR 355 6-3 6-1

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't allow an overnight rest after Aidan's first match of around 3.5 hours.  Of course he would be tired and at a disadvantage.

That's an astonishing effort from Stuart Parker who wins through pre-qualifying for the third year running. He also got a Wimbledon qualies wild card in 2021, but not sure if there were play-offs that year.

Despite this success it also feels a but random this year. Eight of Stuart's ten previous tournaments this year have been in Tunisia and he only won three games at the Nottingham Challenger.

For such a big prize, tough that the players have to play twice in one day.

Seeing that this is Stuarts 4th year in a row in qualifying I thought Id look to see what % the round 1 Qualifying money is as percentage of his prize money using todays £s to $s exchange rate so not exactly accurate once you add this years on I make it 50% of his prize money is from Wimbledon. This is singles only.

He did also get a doubles WC in 2021.

I don't think there were any play-offs in 2021, so yes, 3 years in a row. Hopefully he can get a QR1 win this year, he has lost the previous three but won a set each time.

Im going Wendelken or Jones and Hussey or Whitehouse to get the 2 prize cards.

None of these players even made the final round, and Jones lost in round 1.

Presumably you're not a professional psychic.

Even when they give wildcards to all four finalists, (as has occurred previously), they still play the matches anyway even though they lack significance.  These matches are then "dead" like dead rubbers

        in the Davis Cup.
