Week 25 - LTA Wimbledon Wild Card Play Offs - Wimbledon (Grass)

Really pleased that there are no weather issues, that this is being played on grass, is sunny conditions (as forecast also for next week)

So a proper try-out for grass court qualis, as intended

Wont every match be followed by a smiley and a disappointed face ?!

Nonetheless, good win for Viktor and opens this wide up!

the opening matches are looking v tight - apart from the one that is finished. Giles Hussey and Charlie Robertson seem in a real battle getting towards the end of set 2 at nearly 2 hours played.

Stuart and Ben seem very evenly matched.

Mark Whitehouse was almost out but turned it around against Dan Little and seems in control now

Close run thing by Ben Jones - I had thought he might have a good shout at a run here; Mark Whitehouse is dangerous in the bottom half, however, and came back well over Dan Little

Giles was given a good battle by Charlie, experience no doubt told. Good effort though.

And a good, emphatic win for Harry W, be interested to see how far he can go here
