And it's over. Heather loses 3-6 6-4 7-5.

Absolutely gutting. She did so well, did so much right. Bouzkova defended very well, unreal athleticism at times, clung in, and then turned it round. The amount of work Heather had to do to win points at times was incredible, but that will really hurt. Such a shame.

It's been a good profitable week nonetheless. Hopefully she doesn't have to play at the end of the week and will go straight to Roehampton next week.

Could it be that cough that was going around at Nottingham last week? Fran and Emma had it. Hope she is OK.

Looks like there are 6 players beneath her who could overtake her this week - but they are in Berlin or Birmingham so only one or two could do it.
