I would have given it to someone who has won on grass this year. Fearnley or JPJ

Felix could have had a qwc

Yeah I understand that both of them not having a ranking tournament next week is currently tough. Obviously one or both might be competing in the wildcard playoff. However its a good place to be in if we can make arguments for many players to have a shout in WCs!

Those two will be probably be at the Wimbledon play offs, while Felix will be getting a qWC there. Surely partly a tactical decision.

Also some of this is the is a knock on that Murray and Evans are using 2 of the Queens Main draw WCs. In the past one or both wouldnt need a WC.

I don't have a draw yet, but thought I'd post this one early in case anyone is also gonna be there.

I'm working at the Ilkley Trophy all week in a sort of hybrid host/welcome/live music role, filling in any gaps in play if it rains (so apparently I'm gonna be quite busy), but also serving as a welcome party and hosting various evening events including a Tennis Quiz on Tuesday night (winners get free tickets to the final), a Q&A session with Andrew Castle on Wednesday night for hospitality members, and a surprise on Thursday evening after the football. If it rains a lot there may also be things like music bingo, player/coach interviews and more to keep people entertained.

If any of you are planning to come down, you're welcome to come and find me. Mine will be the voice over the tannoy for most of the day, and I'll be close to the big OOP board as people arrive in the morning. Come say hi!

Nice to see Oli Bonding get a WC reward as one of the best juniors we have!

Isnt down but the Queens main draw WC have yet to be announced. Three available so I assume Murray, Evans & Billy.

Rained heavily overnight here although not raining and sunny now. Not sure if Ilkley cover the courts overnight but, if not, they will be very wet still come 11.

Some changes to the Q draw George now has Kudla who has moved from the 6th seed to the 12th seed. Even though he has a higher ranking than the 7th seed. If anyone can work out whats gone on with this one then Im be interested as this one has done me!

Looks like Cressy withdrew - and draw got rejigged? Maybe putting q12 to Kudla is an error on the sheet?
