Really feel for Andy now - how can he keep putting himself through this? I really hope he gets to give Wimbledon one last go, I would miss Eastbourne if I was him and just protect himself for Wimbledon.

Not sure Olympics makes much sense (what a pairing Dan and Andy would make, youve got to see a funny side to it all) anymore, why go through all of this.

Andy looking like hes walk-in on glass

The Beeb has just shown again the pictures of him at the top of the steps waiting to go on court before the match.  He appeared to be physically in trouble even then.  cry

What a shame, he looked so good beating Popyrin, but this was hard to watch as Andy's body let him down again.

Such a pity. Love the guy for just wanting to play tennis after all he has been through, and all the unsolicited advice he has had.

Just so wish his probable final few months on tour to yet be happier than they may well turn out.

Agree with that.  It must be a novel experience for Alcaraz to be playing a Brit on grass in front of a partisan home crowd.  wink  And before anyone say anything, yes, I'm well aware that the Spaniard is the defending champion here, so playing on grass as such isn't a novel experience for him.

Wow. What a pair of backhand half volleys under pressure. Lovely touch from Alcaraz applauding the 2nd one himself.
