Just picked up from Harri H blog that

Henry doesn't want to go on the Asian tour at all, so I'm a bit torn myself. Should I skip it or play with someone else? That's a tough one!

So interesting - current plan is they would pick up as a pair in Vienna as far as the calendar shows, presumably then Paris and Tour Finals, after the USO. Suspect Henry is tired after a good and successful year and just wants that break through September and early October. Interesting to see what Harri chooses to do. i dont think Joe has plans beyond the USO with Ram and Luke may also be available and shares a coach with Henry. Harri likes playing with Brits as part of the wider Brit doubles eco system so perhaps we will see him partner another Brit for Beijing/Tokyo and Shanghai events?

Of course, Henry will lose his WR 1 status in the process to Harri, but thats his choice, obviously.

Interesting view from Harri H on why he and Henry play Vienna and not basle

Vienna vs Basel is not an easy choice, Henry's wish has led to Vienna being chosen twice before. I have also played Basel twice before that, so it is possible to make a comparison. The Vienna competition has slightly more prize money, better food and hotel, easier to fly from Finland (although harder to get to Paris) and better quality training and match courts. In Basel, the second court has a ceiling 3 meters lower than the rule book, which I don't think is really suitable for foursomes, and that is why I would gladly skip that competition.
