Trivia: Eleanor has made her first ITF singles QF for a decade exactly 10 years to the day since she last played in one - she upset no. 7 seed Gabriela Pantuckova CZE 7-6(5) 7-5 in the QFs at Banja Luka 10K on 13 June 2014.

Awesome! Really hope she can stay injury free and make the most of however many years she's got left on the pro circuit.

There was a walkover in the other SF as well !

Eleanor was not in the first set, winning just 10 points, but after a toilet break broke serve immediately,

What was Eleano's long term injury. Looking at her serving stats in this match, she has a very high % 1st serves in but below 20% 1st serve points won so clearly her serve is lacking any potency.

I haven't seen anything about a specific injury - nothing in her thread on here. But as you say, her serve is really lacking today - won just 8 points out of 32. But her groundshots seem to be OK - winning 40% on return of serve

QF:- Eleanor Dean (GBR) UNR/UNR [Q] LOST TO Katarina Kuzmova (SVK) WR414 [1] 0-6 1-6

It was her knees wasn't it? I have a vague recollection she had surgery on both knees before her last comeback.
