Mayot & Saville beat the second seeds by 3 & 3...

More relevant is Saville was a former Aussie Open finalist. But Peers is a former Aussie Open winner

Top 100 for Marcus with that walkover ? He gets the ranking points, right? So I name that would take him to exactly 100?

Live rankings showing as 97 at the moment.

Well done to Marcus and John. And well done to Marcus for finally becoming a top 100 player after taking a rather roundabout route to get there!

Really super that Marcus is belatedly getting the wins and reaching the ranking levels that he inherently had the ability to do a long tine ago.

He only entered the doubles top 200 for the first time in August last year ( having been as high as WR 221 back in 2014 ) and now he is live ranked 95.
