Week 24 - WTA250 - Nottingham, Great Britain Grass

SO SO close but Harriet and Diane lose the final, 11-9 in the MTB

(they had a MP, but against serve, and didn't mess it up or anything)

Shame though

Pliskova awaits ........who?

 Emma will win.

Wasnt that impressed with Pliskova, Katie or Emma should beat her...

Hoping for Katie to dominate - she needs the £££ more than Emma wink

By that argument you should want Jess Pegula and Emma Navarro to lose every match they play.

No hug at the net. You would have thought there would be.

I think you can read too much into a handshake. This was an important and high profile match for both players and the handshake is often just a reflection of their mood in the moment. Sure they might not be bosom buddies, but you only have to look at the camaraderie in the Billie Jean King Cup ties against France (with Harriet too) to know there are no serious issues.

I could gleefully murder the moron who decided the football needed to be shown on 2 f***ing channels. I don't have good enough broadband to stream it the rest of the match.
