I thought that there would be more comment on the Katie/Emma match? An absorbing set of tennis between two leading Brits in a WTA semi final. Katie seemed to be trying to win the points the more and her winner count was far higher if what flashed up on the screen was correct. She didn't get over the line though and I feel Emma's game is the one that has more to give today? Not brave enough to call it but whoever the victor is, I hope that they have enough left for a final. The chance for Katie successfully defending her title or Emma picking up her first since the US Open.....a defeat would feel a real anti-climax from what has once again been a good tournament for the Brits

You know, Im not sure if Emma might pull out if that ankle is sore this morning. I dont think she will take any risks.

This is intriguing as it shows that Emma is backing up her good performance against sabalenka with some good performances here Showing she is a top top player.
Even though grass can be a bit of a leveller I think Emma is playing within top 50 level at the moment and if she can stay injury free and avoid some of the big hitters Im sure she can have a good wimby.
As for Katie a defeat here wouldnt do her any harm in fact maybe it could spur her on to more success.
Its the losses that spur you on the most especially when its to a fellow (younger) country women But well done to both players who are clearly flying the flag for British womens tennis whoever wins today.
It's an intriguing contest. I think both are a little more nervous playing another Brit. Just get the feeling Katie isn't playing quite as freely as if she was playing someone else.
Anyway good to see two Brits playing at this level.
