What a time for a rain break - Fran serving out the match at 6-5 and 30-30. One of the worst times to see rain, ever. Fran is playing so well - whatever happens, the match should boost Fran's confidence and chances of a Wimbledon wildcard. She was 0-3 in the final set, but fought back so well. So pleased for her.

She served a double fault at 30-15, and was getting tight. Am not sure the extra 24 hours will help her nerves. But what a great effort.
As it kinda should be? It's a 250 tournament Vs a challenger
Dont totally agree - it should be whoever is more attractive to the paying punter. That may be the women, agreed, but it hasnt been that way all week so far.

Raducanu, Boulter and Jabeur are definitely big names! And I feel all 3 have more pull power than Norrie for example, Evans is the only player on the men's challenger side I'd say would interest the punters.

Did you not see that centre was packed for Emma Vs the sparse crowd for Cam?

I agree with Jon, though
If I'd paid good money for a Centre court ticket, for a women's and men's event, and didn't want to move out of my seat all day, I'd expect to have a mixture of matches - the best women's and the best men's
And Jabeur isn't even on the Centre Court - she's on Court 1 (unless she wins)
My list has Parry v Birrell playing on Centre Court - really?
As Jon says, the paying public have been misled - if centre court tickets in advance said: women's WTA matches only, or priority, that's one thing. But I don't believe they did.

That doesn't contradict Jon's point
He's saying it's well likely that more people would like to see Evans v Broom than Parry v Birrell
