Only an 8 player qualies draw in Germany, is that normal for WTA 500's?

Hussey had a solid, consistent season in futures, more so than others, so Im glad he got something despite not replicating it in the grass season.

Apparently Dart Watson Banks and Miyazaki have wildcards. So assume Emma is out?

The WCs are now Harriet, Lily and Emma.

So, sorry, I'm a bit late to the party on all this but does this mean that Marni does NOT have a wildcard here and hence has NOT been upgraded to a MD wildcard at Wimbly?

The Eastbourne wildcard situation feels a bit messy. Have the LTA messed up or has this board misunderstood!?

There can only be 2 normal WCs so it never made sense that they named 4. Whether Marni has been upgraded at Wimby, I think its best to wait for the AELTC to update their lists, which they'll need to do to add the play-off winners.

Cam Norrie now showing on the Eastbourne entry list as a Late entry. Will be unseeded unless Tommy Paul decides to pull out, which I guess he might do if he gets to the Queens final.

Yes and in that Q list you have Coria who is still in Italy on clay, Bergs who will probably have to play WImbledon Q, and Hijikata who is still in Queens.

In fact next 3 in are Liam, Jan and Billy

I am at Eastbourne tomorrow so hoping for lots of Brits to cheer on!

One more Seagull in Eastbourne wink

He pulled out a few days ago so he shouldn't be.

Wow, thats a good draw also! Does the LTA help mallorca with funding ? Hence the wildcard ?

Its one of the 4 tournaments the AELTC invested in in 2020 for which they were to be the owner, rights or licence holder.

thanks - what are the other 3 out of interest ?

Bad Homburg is another (Katie Swan got a WC there a few years ago)
