Week 24 - ATP Challenger 125 - Rothesay Open - Nottingham, Great Britain (grass) - singles

Excellent wins for both Jake and Henry - the men's is going well on grass so far this year, much better than lost and a big filip after the rubbish of the clay!

Cam, Dan, Billy, Paul, Jack / Arthur; thats the five, Henry maybe has a shot I reckon. kudla isnt what he was and Henry knows grass. And Jake has a shot as well. 5 or 6 out of that lot. Dont fancy Charlie or Jan in this one.

Well -turns out it was more than a shot for both of them!!

Unsurprisingly, Dan looked a lot less agitated today than he did at the end of the second set yesterday!

I think it felt going in that Bolt would have grass court savvy, and Jan hasnt played grass so far this year, so not a surprise on that level.

Jan is lined up as an alt for Halle or Queens qualies and Ilkley as a MD alt, next week, so is looking to try and get on the grass somewhere. I would have thought there was a chance of a wild card to Ilkley or Ilkley qualies if he cant get into the bigger qualifying events. Ilkley might do him more good in termsof grass practice
