Apparently now Dan v Broom indoors!

It is the only QF not finished.

No choice other than to play three matches in a day....

Or use more of the grass courts during the hours of glorious sunshine

Nice win for Charlie Broom. Beating Lloyd Harris and Dan Evans back to back is something!

3 of the top 4 ranked Brits may be in stinking form and #5 Liam still out injured, seemingly largely prompting Vandenburg surfacing recently with his doom laden thread starter about the future of British men's tennis ( which to be fair led me to share some concerns ). But actually much to enjoy at the moment further down the rankings as we maybe increasingly look to that future, and maybe it really won't be too bad.

Billy could get inside the top 140 this week, that would be amazing. Charlie could get top 200, brilliant. And Jake, top 300. Wow.

All cant do it, but one at least could be hitting heady heights this weekend.

Putting aside how well Charlie has done, Dan losing is almost as bad as Cam against Jack PJ earlier in the week. Really worrying results for both of them.

I watched a bit on challenger TV and Dan really didn't want to be there. Come Wimbledon, or Queens if it stops raining fingers crossed he'll remember how good he can be.

Wow, well done Charlie! Maybe not the SF line-up we expected at the start of the week, but an exciting one!

Sounds like Dan was a bit hacked off at having to go indoors and wasn't up for the fight. Which is a shame. But important points for Charlie.
