Good win for Charlie, another British qualifier going well this week. Really good to see!

Arthur seemed about to win and then JPJ has turned it around and is 3-0 up in the third set - any one see/hear what happened?

What a win for Jack. Fery will be gutted that got away from him.

Have had half an eye on it, I think it was just the case that Jack was going to lose and then he went more attacking and got the upper hand and never relinquished it.

After reading Lambdas back story on Jack and his exploits on the US college circuit following a challenging transition from juniors, so pleased he won today, just a bit sad it had to be against Arthur.

Well, fellow Brit or not, it certainly is a good win. Missed opportunity for Arthur though, plusses and minuses!

If Cam comes through , and he should, then we have not only Dan Evans versus Henry Searle but Cam Norrie versus JPJ in the next round. If we pop in Paul Jubb and Jake Fearnley as an appetiser, that would be some centre court day for a British fan to get stuck into!

Thought Arthur would have too much for Jack there

Cam making hard work.of things, though up in the 3rd set.

6-1 4-6 *4-2

This is the 5th match out of 5 scheduled for Centre Court. With Tatjana Maria et all doing their stuff on Court 1, and now Fran, they have only completed 2 matches and a set on Court 1 out of the 5 scheduled for there. It would seem sensible to shift Billy to Centre Court.

Youd think so - would let Kypson and Kukushkin get started on court one perhaps as well, after Fran.

Hmm.  I presume that Cam felt the need for some much-needed grass court practice, whereas the Jap had already had two matches to play himself in...  Played some deft shots occasionally, but looked a wee bit rusty.

L16:  (WC/1) Cameron Norrie WR 39 vs (Q) Jack Pinnington Jones WR 773

With Fran magnificently wrapping up her win in 2 sets, it looks like Billy is staying on Court 1. Kypson and Kukushkin have been moved ( already started ) to Court 4.

Billy won the first set 6-3 and then play was suspended.
