Are Tara and Emina not together any more?

Apparently not. That's a shame, and a couple of tennis breakups for Tara that can't be easy. Minnen and Van Uytvanck were also both in Surbiton, and that was a pretty bad breakup.

Sounds like a plotline for "Challengers 2"!wink

Emily very unlucky here.

Was serving at 4-2 up, 15-30, Alison hit the ball long at the baseline - on the live stream, it looked clearly out, would be interested to know what anyone there thought - umpire overruled for 15-40 and it's been downhill from there. Now 4-5.

Yes looked out to me. Just like yesterday with Evans the umpire needlessly got involved. Sigh.

 I thought it was out

And it was miles away from the upmire

He shouldn't have got involved - and IF he did, at least be right !

I haven't been watching this morning - are they still operating with the umpire and two line-judges ? The umpires were doing all the baseline calls earlier in the week.

They have baseline judges on centre only I think.

When I was there on Tuesday (centre court) for the ladies matches they only had 2 line judges calling the side-lines/centre. The umpire was calling the baselines. When the men's match came on (albeit only for 2 games before the rain!) there were definitely more line judges, calling both the baselines and service lines I think.

Olivia Gadecki has won the other 11 am start match

I guess Millie can be pretty happy she took her to three sets

It was the same on Court 1 on Tuesday - a full set of line judges for the Shapovalov match and just the two for the women's matches.

Taddy Maria has now won her match against Birrell

Age 36, still chipping and chopping, you may not love the tennis but you've got to love the spirit

She ended up as RU in Surbiton.

The following week on Nottingham grass she has managed to take 3 hours 26 minutes to complete a 4-6 7-6(7) 7-6(6) R1 win over Emiliana Arango (COL)
