oooohh, yes, that's got the potential to be a bit personal.....
Are Tara and Emina not together any more?
Apparently not. That's a shame, and a couple of tennis breakups for Tara that can't be easy. Minnen and Van Uytvanck were also both in Surbiton, and that was a pretty bad breakup.
SF:- Harriet Dart (GBR) / Greet Minnen (BEL) CR181(116+65) [3] LOST TO Emina Bektas (USA) / Aleksandra Krunic (SER) CR808 (709+99) 1-6 3-6
So who would have predicted this final ? The CH's give it away.
F:- Sarah Beth Grey (GBR) / Tara Moore (GBR) UNR (146+UNR/SR88) v Emina Bektas (USA) / Aleksandra Krunic (SER) CR808 (709/CH=78 in2022+99/CH=35 in2019)
Krunic has formed a good partnership with Aoyama this year following a long term injury. And Bektas was focusing on singles having been a successful doubles player. A tough final.

Wikipedia entry says: Tara was previously married to fellow professional tennis player Emina Bektas. She was previously in a long-term relationship with her former doubles partner, Conny Perrin.[15]
Emina's wiki page says they are still married. Not sure if that means they are divorced or just apart but that is a shame for Tara. The doping situation cant have been easy and off the back of the pandemic stopping tennis, it cant have been easy.
