1 Erin Pearce - winning the singles AND the doubles title at the J60 in Edinburgh

2 Hollie Smart - aged 14,  won the Sweden J100 doubles ( wirh Ruby Cooling ) and reached the singles final, along the way beating the top seed JWR 134 plus additional top 200 and top 300 players.

3 Neal Skupski - for keeping the British flag flying at Roland Garros by reaching the French Open mixed doubles final with partner Desirae Krawczyk.

4. Emily Appleton for exceeding expectations at Surbiton and taking out her previous highest ranked win.

5. Alfie Hewett/Gordon Reid - for a fifth successive French Open mens wheelchair doubles title, and for winning their second slam of the year. Dominant.

We are halfway now in this months Pom cycle - 17 days into a 35 day period. Hopefully lots of players impressing on the grass who will pop up here later this month!

Remember, the month will close at the end of the Eastbourne week.

Pretty sure I used to have a policy of nominating anybody who scored their first ever ranking point.

Let's hope that narrative needs a bit (or a lot!) of an update before the end of the month. smile But yes, Billy's already done enough to deserve to be on this list.
