And Neal drops out of the top 10 as Vavasori and Bolelli win their semifinal.

Apart from not being in the top 10, not sure exactly what that means to our doubles options for Paris Olympics - perhaps someone who studies it more deeply than me can give their thoughts? Presumably it makes it more likely Joe and Neal will now pair up as opposed to Joe/Andy and Neal/Dan? Joe will now have a freer choice of Andy or Neal? And Neal and Dan will need to rely on combined rankings rather than Neal getting them in as a top 10 player? Which may kill their potential pairing and push it also towards Joe and Neal pairing up?

So many permutations. Joe can get in with any player, the other pairing will be based on combined rankings. Neil and Dan would currently be a combined ranking of 71 (improves if Dan keeps winning in Surbiton), which would have got them into Tokyo. If Joe plays with Neil, and Andy with Dan, Andy and Dan's combined ranking wouldn't get them in as one of the Top 24 pairs, but they might get in if the Singles Priority rule comes into play. and think I'll stop there.

I'd read it right then, phew - thanks Vic (man!)
