Ps it is actually JonH as opposed to me playing around with John - Im a Jonathan by birth. and my surname begins with H. Not very imaginative.

Evo is on Lenglen tomorrow, he likes a big stage. Dont see any chance of an upset but maybe he can play well.

I'm hoping Evo will pull out a win just to be contrary.

Not a Brit, but still one of my favourites - congrats to Gael Monfils who won his 122 Grand Slam match yesterday, which is more than any other Frenchman in history.

He's on a covered court, no?

Yes. Loved that match yesterday.  Real great way to end the day. And his wife got a win too smile

Nb Gael has developed a new 'victory dance' - quite a showstopper biggrin

Arthur got up to 4th in the world in juniors

And he's transitioning ok to seniors - he's 21 now - although maybe not quite as susseccfully as some would have hoped

But he's quite a slender guy, about 5ft 11 or so, not a big guy

Comes from Montpellier, I think

He's also the one who collapsed on court in Miami (I think it was). Heat stroke from recollection but caused everyone a big fright

Has struggled with injury too. Hasn't played since going over on his ankle in Barcelona.

Dan 4-6 1-0* vs Rune

One break of serve in the 9th game of the first set. Dan was *0-40 and eventually saved a total of 4 BPs in the first game of the second set.
