Lambda points out the Oscar Weightman has just earned a wildcard into the Wimbledon play-offs
The rules are:
Mens Wild Cards.
1 wild card from winning the Lexus British Tour Premier West Worthing
1 wild card from winning the Progress Tour Cromer
1 wild card for the top ranked NCAA player having signed in (subject to the player being in the NCAA
top 100)
1 wild card for the runner up of the Lexus Junior National Championships 18U Boys Singles 2024.
If any of the above mens wild cards are not required or accepted, then they will be allocated to the
highest ranked players that sign in for the event.
2 further discretionary wild cards from the LTA Performance Team
Oscar has just won the Progress Tour in Cromer, says Lambda
So that's his place
Charlie Robertson was the runner-up in the U18 nationals, so he's got a wildcard too
Non Brit. But I wonder if the Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard might have a shot at a WC. Hes ranked 66th after winning Lyon just before the French, but in Wimbledon qualifying due to the cutoff. Hes qualified in Stuttgart a good showing there and Queens and he might get a WC.

That would work - thats how Ofner got in last year after his ranking rose and he did well on grass. hed appeal to the press as well.

Good point
The FFT will almost certainly be making a call to the LTA/AELTC too - Giovanni is young and obviously one of their top 'stars-to-be'
