Why does it take so long to do the draws? Must bee very frustrating for the players before an important day in their careers. Entries close at 6 pm. Now 8.15 pm and no signs of a draw. Top ten in ranking go straight in. All the referee needs to do is to have ranked another six in order with a couple of reserves in case of surprise no shows! Should have been published by 6.30 pm

It will be done won't it? They've just not uploaded it into the competition software as despite knowing for years this is a big event in the domestic calendar, the LTA seem intent on acting as if it doesn't exist. I'm sure it will pop up randomly at some point and then we'll spend tomorrow refreshing the draws every half hour in the vain hope it updates with results.

One of the players told me at 7.45 pm that she had been told unofficially that she was in but that the draw and order hadn't been done!
Jeezo. Unless they were waiting on LJB/Roach doubles from Ilkley to see if those two would be able to play or not, but if either had gotten in or been given wildcards they could have just been replaced by alternates so no need to delay. Frustrating!

Draw is
Dunne (1) v Gillan, Drakeford Lewis v Paskauskas, Moore v Lacy, Christie v Bains (3), Grey (2) v Rajecki, Maloney v Black, Korpanec Davies v Oluwadare, Allen v Swan (4)

Some big surprises!!
No idea how fit Katy and Katie are, but I'd expect Dunne v Bains and Grey/Rajecki v Swan in normal circumstances
