Which British women's player will win the most grass court season matches in 2024?

So time for the annual prediction game.

We have several weeks of grass coming up and for the past few years we have tracked which British players win the most main draw and qualifying draw matches!

And it is time to go again!

Starting with Surbiton, we will track the wins in qualies and main draw through all the events in Britain and overseas, through to the end of Wimbledon (for the women). The wins that count include all main draws and qualies AND include the LTA Wild Card Play offs pre qualifiers that take place.

Your job is to predict which player you think will get the most wins!!

When you vote, please say for whom and I will anoint a winner at the end.

For the last 2 years, the players with most wins have been:

2022 - 10 wins - Jodie Burrage; 9 wins Katie Boulter; 7 wins Harriet Dart

2023 - 10 wins - Katie Boulter; 8 wins Harriet Dart; 7 wins Jodie Burrage

So some consistency there!

I have listed the top 19 women as of today plus AN other, in case you think someone outside the top 19 will win!

Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE, I HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE THIS POLL EARLIER THAN PLANNED, IT WILL NOW BE 9.30AM FRIDAY MORNING NEXT WEEK, 31ST MAY. PLAY STARTS OVER THAT WEEKEND IN SURBITON AND AS WE ARE A WEEK OUT, IT IS BETTER TO CLOSE PREDICTIONS BEFORE PLAY ACTUALLY STARTS.

PLEASE NOTE AND DONT MISS THE NEW DEADLINE!

For the avoidance of doubt, wins are counted from both BRITISH and OVERSEAS ATP and ITF grass court events, main draws and qualies, and wildcard play offs but not British Tour or junior events.

Please say who you vote for so we can see who wins - last year the womens was split 9 ways!

Ive voted for Emma - trusting in the process!

I'm also voting for Emma, as we know from her exploits in the past that she likes grass courts and she was generally doing quite well after her comeback until she got burned out and stepped back for a few weeks. But I've really no idea where this could land. (Hannah, Mika and Mimi could also do well with lots of low to mid-level tournaments, I think.)

Its very true and thinking about players who could do well without getting caught up in wild cards for the bigger events could be key. That said, Katie, Harriet and Jodie have been the top 3 both the last 2 years, so it was hard looking past one of them!

If others could, like Tanaqui, say who they predict/vote for, that will help me track the competition as it proceeds!

Surbiton is a W100, as is Ilkley - the only two ITF grass court tournaments this year. And the Italian tournament is in Gaiba.

Noted - not that it actually changes anything in terms of this prediction contest!
