Was just reminding myself of the ranking points for qualifying in a Grand Slam. Q2 = 8, Q3 = 16, Qualifying = 30(+10 for R1). Has the final round improved this year? Am I wrong in thinking that use to be 25?

Oli did well to win the opening set but lost the second and is 3-0 down in the third.

Looking like Billy Harris will be our last qualies survivor, men and women.

But unfortunately couldn't take either of them (one was Guinard playing very well)

Having saved the break points, Manu went on to have a little purple patch - played excellent tennis - broke Billy

But (not too surprisingly) couldn't sustain it, and Billy broke back easily

Now back on serve - allez, Billy

Some smart play from Billy, coming to the net and changing momentum, rather than trying to out hit his opponent from the basElaine. Back on serve.

Pesky French supporters are really behind their man hmm 

P.S. watching on Discovery+ as not too expensive as you pointed out CD smile
