Hannah won 6-4 6-3. She looked mightily powerful out there, but with 14 double faults it's clear that her serve is the weakness. She looks mighty in rallies! I'm sure the serve will come in time.

Yes she was the more dominant player and deserved of her victory! Her serve might have been slightly hampered by the wind but her service games that i saw were long. Finished with a nice move up the court confidently putting away a backhand volley! Good experience against a higher ranked opponent!
She's now on 65 ranking points, tied with Emerson Jones AUS, who is also 15 albeit Hannah is 6 months younger and will be able to play Juniors for a year longer.
And thought Hannah was playing far more positively than some of her recent showings
She was the more entrepreneurial player, her backhand looked a little more solid than it has done, the double faults were partly due to the wind - which was just awful - I wouldn't read too much into it
The draw has opened up a little for Hannah, as the 3seed has given a walkover to a qualifier WR991, Werner GER... who Hannah would now meet in the QF if she wins today.
First set went to the Spanish 16yo - 3-6 - rather a role reversal from yesterday's match, with Banuls mixing it up a lot and doing some very good counterattacking defending.
I have the impression that Hannah is making a lot of unforced errors, trying to force winners that arent really there, on clay, against this quality of opponent.
