The wind is up to all sorts of tricks - occasionally dead calm, then seconds later the 8 foot leylandii hedges between the courts start visibly swaying.
Helps neither of them, but seems to be hurting Reyngold more. Some shocking misses.

Yeah! At some stage in set two I genuinely thought they were going to blow onto the court! Some violent wind out there.
Sarah secures the win! 2-6 7-5 6-2. Reyngold really collapsed after missing those two easy open-court shots at 4-5 40-40 in the second set.
Yes, tennis as it's best
Never let it be said it's only our players who go to pieces....
But Sarah, as has been said before on this forum in the nationals and others, plays a very tidy game, it's more than a sum of its parts, it was good to watch, well done to her :)
Just out of interest how many tournaments at senior level would Klugman have after this one? I presume she will want to play British tournaments in the summer too. So would that mean she would have hardly any left for the US hard court swing? And when she is 16 how many senior tournaments will she get?
Hannah will have played 2 and have 8 tournaments left after this while she's 15. At 16 she has 12 tournaments. But Hannah's goal this year should be to end the year as a top 5 junior, which will give her an additional 4 senior tournaments each year while she is of junior age, 3 additional pro WCs to use at any time while she's a junior and accelerator programme places into the main draw of higher level ITFs next year. With that she would have more freedom to continue her development in senior tournaments and leave juniors largely behind. To achieve that goal she has a lot of junior points to defend in the 2nd half of the year so I expect her to still predominantly play juniors for the rest of the year.
I think we can overanalyse what tournaments a player should play. As long as she is getting matches under her belt, and experience on all surfaces, am a firm believer that quality will out. That said, playing high quality opponents in major junior events, and potentially having more freedom next year, sounds like a sensible approach.

I agree. It also has the benefit of being around girls her own age and having fun. It was very interesting reading Jack Draper's experience of playing tournaments in the early days and how the loneliness and strain of playing on tour made him even think of giving up tennis. She hopefully has a long career ahead of her and there is no rush. It's also important to pace herself so she doesn't get chronic injuries.
I'm still struck by seeing Andreeva at the Wimbledon qualies last year and all those cameramen and entourage following her. Even if it was because she was filming a documentary, it was still a lot to deal with for a 16 year old. The contrast with Hannah just largely getting on with her game as still more known for juniors was quite stark. Once you start getting known for senior tennis, you get the inside page journalists/social media bugging you as much as the back page writers writing primarily about your tennis.
Holds of serve are at a premium, presumably the wind a factor, and there were two extraordinarily long games on Hannah's serve. So many deuces that it went off the page. She's played 56 service points, her opponent has played 25.
