I haven't seen anything, but Talia is missing from the qualifying draw and would have been seeded. Sophie was down as 18th alt, so can't even guess that one.
You're a comedian CD. As if the LTA would announce WCs for a 25K.
I'm sure you're right with Talia and probably Sophie, although Sophie must be tired with all the tennis, netball and travelling back and forth she's done over the last couple of weeks.
I am struggling to identify who the other WCs are though. There isn't anyone from the alt list who is not in qualifying that I think would have one and all the other obvious candidates that are not playing elsewhere I think are injured. Ranah appears to have a long term injury having withdrawn from multiple weeks on 9 March; Hep gave a walkover in her last match, was that something she could recover from quickly? Marni was a late withdrawal from last week's event but maybe a change of plan to this week to give an extra week to recover? Katy was meant to be in Japan for the next 3 weeks but was a late withdrawal from all those events. Was that injury induced or a change of plan? Anna and Matilda haven't been seen for months so are presumably injured and Matilda doesn't usually play in GB anyway. Isabelle withdrew from qualifying here a couple of weeks ago, but maybe has changed her mind to play here? I'm not sure who else there is? Gabia P maybe? Allegra is playing juniors this week I think. Hannah Read? Hannah Rylatt? No idea.
Like you, Lambda, (although nowhere near as methodically), I'd tried to go through the other players, wondering about who might have the other two WCs. And was left pretty stumped too.
(pretty sure that Sophie will have one, and will take it, netball or no - she's pretty reliant on wildcards to get a ranking - did she get 5 points from the last one? 4 for the win and 1 for qualifiyng? Is that right? - and will want a ranking asap - and also to stake a claim for wildcards to Surbiton or wherever as the grass season kicks off - unless she just fancied a run around (which I don't think so, given Redbridge, here, etc) then she'll have to take what's offered)
I had wondered about Freya, who's from Nottingham and often turns up for Nottingham events. But I think she entered, and then withdrew (although that doesn't stop it) and then she's in Portugal this week....
I think Brooke Black will be one of the wildcards though - she's high on the ALT list, not in qualis, and - for some reason - I think the powers that be like her (she also beat Sophie pretty recently)
No-one seems to be following this today but after a long drive down the M6 today I tuned in this evening to see the end of two very good wins for Emma Wilson and Lois Newberry. I particular enjoyed watching Lois who I have never seen before and who I thought put on an excellent performance. We seem to have a lot of Brits through to final qualifying.

In the last few weeks, Jaquelyn Ogunwale has, I believe, beaten Eliz Maloney twice and Andre Lukosuite twice in ITF and British Tour events. A world ranking can't be far away and all achieved without any wild cards!

It is a very weak tournament and thus most GB ladies made qualifying. Hence a lot of guaranteed main draws.
