 Thanks Vicman - so, is that correct that for someone like Harri to enter in advance or onsite he would need to play with a top 10 singles player? Good luck with that, Harri!

I presume if the places dont get filled with the S+S or top 10 S/ top 50 D combos, they will go to the doubles alts and fill in from those - otherwise, why have the doubles alts list at all?

Jack and Hubi have played some tight matches and of course played a week or two back, and on clay. Jack will have a shot if he gets through his qualifier opponent.

For Dan, a qualifier - well, who knows with Dan right now. But Rublev's form is as abject as Dan's so you never know if this could be a slightly open door?

 Fairly short term though re Rublev. Yes, he hasn't won since early March, so with no clay wins, his last win being vs Andy in Indian Wells in early March. 4 losses in a row, 2 on hard, 2 on clay.

But he had a very good January and February. In the live race he is #13 on 1080 points. Dan is #183 on 120 points!

So Skupski will have played with Dodig, Salisbury and Krajicek in consecutive events. Am very confused. Gonzalez now seems to be back with Roger-Vasselin.

The early 'all singles' doubles pairs in Madrid are pretty similar to the pairs that have signed up for Rome. Will be interesting to see who signs up as late entries.

 I thought that re Rome list as well; Madrid field left me a bit wondering what the fuss had been about! And not sure it would the dial on audience numbers or interest etc! 

dodig and Krajicek are together this week arent they? So Im guessing theyre secure as a pair still , although only in 9th in the Race in this very strange doubles season. im glad that Neal and Joe dont seem to be permanent, but interested to see who he pairs with now for the FO and then the grass season?
