That's a pair of very gritty performances. Harriet doesn't have a natural game for clay so needs to grind out wins. She got really upset when accused of touching the net in the third set but managed to hold it together.
With OpenEraRankings not being updated this week I am struggling to work out Harriet's ranking points. How many mandatory scores does she have to retain before she's allowed drop any? She currently has 4 slams and 4 Masters events which with the exception of Madrid are her lowest counters. Any help in understanding how this works would be much appreciated. Thank you

From Coric "According to latest official rankings of WTA, main draw results of 4 Grand Slams and Indian Wells/Miami/Madrid should count, and best 1 result of Rome/Rogers Cup/Cincinnati/Guadalajara/Doha/Dubai should count even if loss in qualification rounds"
Both Coric and live.eu show Harriet at a new CH of 82 after today's win and on 819 points.
Emma is playing 2nd on Arantxa Sanchez tomorrow, play on that court is scheduled to start at 10.00. If that is Madrid time it suggests Emma's match should start around 10.30 UK time. Harriet is 3rd on Stadium 3. Harriet's match should start around midday.

Emma is 3rd on after 10am UK. If your looking at the WTA website it does not show the mens match which is first on and defaults to your local time already.

Emma' is the second WTA match on the court but there is an ATP match on first so your times need to be adjusted a little.

Coric is slightly incorrect. Losses in qualifying are not a mandatory counter. They were for about 6 weeks for the 1 "other" mandatory, but that was changed back after Miami to not counting. Harriet's only mandatory counter on Monday was Wimbledon. She will now be required to count Madrid. It should be noted we are in a transition period for mandatory counters and as tournaments are played this year mandatory counters will change [I'm assuming given what are currently counting as mandatory counters doesn't reflect what the rulebook says should count].
Mandatory counters from 2023 events are as described above (except qualifying isn't mandatory). Mandatory counters from 2024 events are 4 Grand Slams, 6 combined/virtual combined 1000s (I'm assuming they are IW, Miami, Madrid, Rome, Canada, Cincy, Beijing), 1 "WTA only" 1000 (Doha, Dubai, Wuhan)
