RE: Week 17 - ITF W35 Nottingham, Great Britain - Hard

Hannah and Mimi Xu are playing this week in Offenbach, Germany in the Grade A J500 junior event.  They potentially will be available for the second W35 in Nottingham next week if they have the energy for it.

And if they think it's sensible to go back onto hard temporarily

Which I don't think they will or - at least - would not be standard advice which would be that they should stick to clay until RG

Unlikely - I suspect they will be on clay until after RG

Go, Hollie

Three of those wildcards seem pretty predictably but wasn't expecting Hollie

I was. Once it was certain she wasn't in Aldershot I thought she'd take the WC for winning the 16U Nationals this week.

Big win for Sophie Drakeford-Lewis (and a very satisfying kerching moment )

Nice to see her get a win against a ranked player (even if - unfortunately - it was one of our own)

Dani D and Emma Wilson also got easy wins

What happens if she goes deep? She's got a netball match on saturday.

She's entered next week too but then nothing after that. Interesting though as it looks as though she may be considering giving Tennis another go and these 2 tournaments are her 'sighter'
