Brilliant ,got it! 6-3 in the second. Well done. Heres to many more! 675 WR, looks like one place behind Hannah in the Under 18s and she has done this almost under the radar.

Yes, super week.
Hannah and Mika are indeed now 17th and 18th in the live U18 rankings. They are 2nd and 3rd in the live U16 rankings.
U16s :
1. Live #638 - Emerson Jones (AUS) 65 points
2. LIve #663 - Hannah Klugman (GBR) 60 points
3. Live #675 - Mika Stojsavljevic (GBR) 58 points
Although I do generally like tennis stats, this is for now more "FWIW", since at their ages there are much more important issues than rankings, and different players take different development / transition routes. But it does give at least some indication that we are right to at least be very interested in their potential.
I don't know how the teenagers manage not to be aware that people are watching! Wimbledon...millions watching. Nottingham a handful probably. It must be daunting to be watched by a vast audience. I'm sure nerves get to some.
Well, just talking for one particular French elite player as a teenager, she played MILES better when people were watching. Played like a complete beginner if there was nobody. She liked the stage, the buzz. Dan Evans once said the same thing. Some people thrive on it.
Dan is a great example. But I'm particulalry impressed by the players who can play and win matches at Challengers week in week out without many people watching. They can find the drive from within.
She needs to make sure she doesn't overdo it, it's easy to incur injuries at such a young age.
She has never had an injury since playing aged 4/5 and she's played for hours every week, so I can't see that happening. Might be wrong.
Lambda noticed she pulled out of next weeks W35 Nottingham event. Seems like she has sound advice. Must say I would love to see her play over the summer on the grass.

Her performance last year at Junior Wimbledon was when she broke onto the scene for most people. She had an excellent event, really left her mark.
Definitely worth trying to get to see it live if you could
I still maintain that it was her play at Roehampton last month that rather put Hannah off - the crack of the racket and noise of the ball was SO impressive that I think Hannah was a little shaken - she was courtside watching, and not looking too happy, and then went on to play a really poor (by her standards) match
