Week 17 - ITF M25 - Nottingham, Great Britain (hard)

I see both finals start at 11am, mens and womens. Why would they do that?

Its also heavy rain today; presumably they have indoor options available at Nottingham?

I stuck it in the women's but in the OoP today it's listed as being in the Air Hall Courts, so, yes, inside

All eye on the ladies final it seems. Meanwhile, Charles takes the opening set 6-3 in the mens and is a set away from the double for the week.

Well done Paul - good end to a solid month!

Indy will no doubt advise on the ranking implications for Paul, Charles and Giles?! Please!

Your wish ...

They are part of a now quite close group GB live ranked #11 to #16.

GB live rankings ( for 06/05 ) :

10. Arthur - #249. 236 points

11. Charles - #311. 169

12. Felix - #319. 163

13. Paul - #328. 158

14. Jay - #347. 148

15. Aidan - #351. 145

16. Giles - #352. 144

17. Kyle - #439. 101

18. Anton - #440. 101

Be interesting to see which if any can get into the top 300 and/or threaten the end of year GB top 10, and who has some of them in their top 10 predictions. Can say Paul and Jay continue moving back up the rankings?

Well done Paul. His return is coming along slowly.

A few more weeks like this would do him well leading into the grass season.

Looking at the predictions lists, a reasonable number have Arthur and Paul, one or two with Kyle also. And a fair number with Felix and Jay in the Mix. Didnt notice any Charles or Giles predictions. Sadly, I only had Arthur in my 10.
