Looking at wiki, sixth as a pair. nicely done. And Luke to a CH 77 live ranking as well.

According to the ITF site, it's their 6th Challenger title together ( 3 in 2023 and 3 already in 2024 ). They also won 2 ITFs ( an M25 and an M15 ) together in 2022.

Well if the LTA wont give them WCs with their respective partners, Luke and Marcus might be a good option for the grass season?

I hope the LTA doesnt split the tested pairings, tennis isnt a national sport on the tour, its a world sport and individual

Certainly not split good pairings, on the rise, such as Luke & Skander and Marcus &  Christian. More borderline and I have sone understanding of wanting to give British WCs to Brits.

Hopefully Lloyd & Harri's successful Queen's run in 2022 ( and further subsequent results ) after having to go through hoops and negotiations with the Finnish Federation, sent a message about the benefits of giving such pairs WCs.

But the question is: would you rather that Luke+ as your confirmed pair got a WC, but Marcus got nothing?

Or would you rather Luke & Marcus got one, playing together?

Cant say to be honest - I hope theyd both get one; Id actually hope Luke and Skander get high enough for direct entry and avoid the question!

Sorry, you can't wriggle out like that
Because that's the whole question re reestablished couples (with pesky) or GB player couples
If it's not Luke+ v Marcus+, it'll be someone else

Ok, ha. I think Id like to see them have the best chance of winning, so if the establishment had Luke and Skander versus Luke and Marcus, Id go Luke and Skander. Probably.

Luke and Marcus both play forehand so putting them together will have one of them playing on the ad side in an unfamiliar place, thus immediately weakening the partnership. At that level you have to be playing in your best place .
