Several of our doubles players are back here next week for the W100 but there don't seem to be any singles players unless Alts get promoted.

I'm not so sure about that. Only Freya & Lissey are advance entries and Eden also will be here. Eden should get into qualifying as well, needing 1 more withdrawal or WC to be given to someone above her.

Emily has withdrawn from both doubles and singles, probably so she can travel to the States during the week where she's in qualifying next weekend. On Wednesday Ali withdrew from doubles and singles here and singles in other events where she was an alt and changed Nottingham to her Priority 1 event. I'm probably completely wrong here but I'm thinking she possibly has a qWC for Nottingham, if, as it seems, she is giving singles another go? The pair of Olivia's withdrew. It's unclear which of them caused the withdrawal but as Gadecki is still in singles, it leans towards suggesting it is our Liv that decided to pull out.

So of the 6 that entered doubles next week I think only 3 of them will be there.

Kiki lost her singles SF in three sets, with the last two both bagels against her. The doubles final is still showing on the order of play at the moment, so not sure whether she has a problem or not.

Third bagel of the day for Kiki, but they made a fight of it in the second set.

Final: Francisca Jorge & Matilda Jorge (POR/POR) CR 282 (134+148) def (2) Kristina Mladenovic & Harriet Dart (FRA/GBR) CR 185 (56+129) 6-0 6-4
