Fran on live now, lost 1st set 6-4, but just got a break up in 2nd set, 4-3. Audience of 3 watching judging from the clapping volume though en24.sportplus.live showing it.

Jones loses in straight sets but battled really well and played a good match, mladenovic just a little stronger and good at the net. A nice exchange between the two at the end.

Maybe, maybe not. Harriet's a very decent doubles player and would be much higher ranked if she gave it a bit more focus - not that I'm saying she should.

She just has 12 tournaments in a year for her WR 129 - so only just covering the maximum 12 counters and 5 of them are 1 pointers ( her other 7 average over 100 points ). Just making the final here now has her though up to live ranked 115 with 81 replacing one of the 1s.
