Watched the second set from 1-1 and on the evidence of this, Kyle is, sadly, a long way away from getting back towards the top of the game.
Far too many errors from decent positions - I lost count of how many shanked or completely wild forehands there were.
Really Fonio had to do little else than hit his big serve and keep the ball in play, waiting for Kyle to eventually breakdown. The Italian had a nice one-handed backhand though which is unusual to see these days.

Overall a bit sad to see - I had high hopes for this US leg but not looking too great right now.
