L56:  (10) Hubert Hurkacz (POL) WR 8 defeated Jack Draper WR 39 by 6-4 3-6 7-6(2)  hmm

Pity.  The last 32 match would have been against Roberto Bautista.

Good quality match. Not a lot between the two.
Jack had chances to win it.

I find that interesting as I didnt feel like Jack had any chances to win it, it was close but I always felt hurkacz was in control. but maybe I miss read the flow of the match.

I would agree twentytoone, I also felt Hubi had the edge. Jack did really well to get the break back in the 3rd but after the first couple of points of the breaker you felt there was only going to be one winner.

But hey, not a bad showing at all against the WR 8 who was coming off the back of a tournament win!

I was actually a little disappointed Jack lost, thought he could win this one

Agreed. Hubi was very much in control from the first point. Jack took a few games to acclimatize to the clay but even after that, it was still in Hubi's hands.

Jack will get better on the surface but it'll take more matches, more tournaments, and maybe even a few more seasons. His movement limits his shotmaking and power - so that'll get better the more he plays on the surface.
