Easy week for Billy so far. Hopefully will mean he is fresh for the QF. Was just looking at his points to defend. Only has 10 points, from Queens qualifying, on his counters to defend prior to Wimbledon. Hopefully can get himself back comfortable into the top 200 and maybe grab a Wimbledon main draw WC.

That would be good - he has had a lean couple of months, but this week could do wonders and , from memory, he quite likes clay courts, so could gain points as you say.

Would have thought Billy is a certainty to get a Wimbledon WC

 SO SO hope so smile

And then, pray to God that Andrew Castle has learnt his lesson from last year and doesn't re-start his condescending prattle about 'Billy's dad, the (lowly) eletrician'

Main draw? That would be great if he can - suspect a ranking with a 1 before it would help that cause. Looking outside the top 100, Brits would be Liam (if fit), Jan, Ryan, Billy and then maybe Arthur?

Is anyone else likely to be in line? Oliver Crawford is surely too new a Brit to get a main draw shout, maybe a QWC? All the other Brits are below 300 and they wont give one to someone below 300, I wouldnt think.

Given the usual grass Challenger wild card, are there any old performers in line for a mens wild card? The womens side seems to have every ex player that ever played lined up for them but the mens doesnt strike me as having anyone obvious this year, maybe Thiem if he lowly ranked?

So 5 British men wouldnt seem too difficult to achieve?
