Week 13 - ATP Challenger 100 - Girona, Spain (clay)

Pity, but Sousa is a wily old campaigner, remember watching him outlast Evo in a 5 setter at Wimbledon some years ago. A learning curve for Felix, if a rather painful one.

Ironically Sousa is retiring next week after the ATP event in Estoril. Felix could end up being his last victim!

Good to see Henry and Cabral win - last event together though?

New here (Have read posts for a good while as it's good to get an update with the Brits..), One thing i can say is glad Patten & Cabral splitting, hasn't worked at all. Not massively impressed by Cabral from the matches i've tuned into.

Welcome on board, FF

I see that they had 3 MPs on serve at *5-3 40-15 in the second set

Thank you, It's good to be here!

I watched a bit back and the tennis was pretty poor from both Patten and Cabral. Definitely looked like a bit of a halfhearted last match together. Will be interested to see what happens in the future. Having watched a lot of Cash and Patten it seems that both can do better than with their current partners. Definitely think Patten has been held back by his partner but that just might be bias creeping in.

Seems a weird time for all British doubles!

I'll echo Indy's & Jon's welcome, FF.  Good to have your thoughts on the Patten/Cabral (failed) partnership.
